Where the shapes come from
Provenance and rights basis for all 585 outlines used in the game.
Every outline drawn on the board is listed here, searchable by name. Each record names the subject, the source the shape was derived from, the licence where one applies, and the rights basis under which it is used. Geographic outlines are traced from open mapping data and carry their licence with them; the rest are drawn shapes. The label “Owned” refers to the artwork alone and claims nothing about the character, trade mark or subject it depicts.
No rights holder named on this page has licensed, sponsored, endorsed or reviewed the game, unless a record says so explicitly. Nothing here is official promotional artwork, and all third-party intellectual property stays with its owners. The outline matters because the measurement attached to it is what a round scores you against, so each record is kept next to the shape it describes rather than in a separate list.
The figures themselves are set out on the questions page, and the shapes are in play on the daily game, Pop Culture and Geography.
