Why this one is hard to judge by eye
Megatron is drawn about 5.47 times as wide as Mewtwo as well as 5.35 times its height, so the area it takes in the frame grows faster than the figure anyone quotes. Megatron sits in the range with no handy yardstick: too big to hold against anything you have carried, too small to need a horizon, so it and Mewtwo end up filed under the same vague heading of very large.
What each figure covers
Megatron. The height is the film design for the character, and it changes between films. Nothing in the source fixes it, so any figure arrives with a version attached.
Mewtwo. Mewtwo is quoted at its official entry height, unchanged since 1996. It is taller than most people remember, because it is almost always drawn crouching.
