Why this one is hard to judge by eye
A Stegosaurus is drawn about 3.68 times as wide as a Velociraptor as well as 3.68 times its length, so the area it takes in the frame grows faster than the figure anyone quotes. A Stegosaurus sits in the range with no handy yardstick: too big to hold against anything you have carried, too small to need a horizon, so it and a Velociraptor end up filed under the same vague heading of very large.
What each figure covers
Stegosaurus. Stegosaurus is quoted nose to tail. The plates along the back are not part of the length, and their arrangement is still argued over.
Velociraptor. Velociraptor is quoted nose to tail, and the animal was about the size of a large turkey. The creatures in the films are a different genus entirely, scaled far larger.
