What is 25 centimetres tall?
Ten objects in the Size It Up measurement set stand between 20.32 cm (8 in) and 30 cm (11.81 in), Kirby the shortest and Wine Bottle the tallest. That is 25 cm (9.84 in) give or take a fifth, and Papa Smurf comes closest to it, 8% over, and nothing else comes within a tenth of it. Every number here is a height, which is the only reason Kirby and Wine Bottle can be put in the same row: the drawing below holds them to one scale and one height.

Every height in the table falls between 20.32 cm and 30 cm, Kirby through to Wine Bottle, and all 10 come from the Size It Up measurement set, one real size and one measured axis per object, last checked in September 2026; where each outline comes from is listed on the sources page.
Where each one falls against 25 cm
At 20.32 cm (8 in), Kirby is 19% below it. No outline on the page spreads wider than Kirby: 25.67 cm across for 20.32 cm of height. A5 Paper stops 16% short, at 21 cm (8.27 in). At 21.5 cm (8.46 in), Gingy is 14% below it.
Football falls 12% under the mark at 22 cm (8.66 in). Papa Smurf runs 8% over at 27 cm (10.63 in). Tarsier clears the mark by 12%, at 28 cm (11.02 in).
A4 Paper clears the mark by 19%, at 29.7 cm (11.69 in). Buzz Lightyear, Eevee and Wine Bottle are all recorded at 30 cm (11.81 in), 20% over the mark. No outline on the page is narrower than Wine Bottle: 7.16 cm of width for 30 cm of height, a ratio of 4.2 to one.
The gaps inside the band
End to end the page runs from Kirby at 20.32 cm (8 in) to Wine Bottle at 30 cm (11.81 in), a spread of 48%. Ten objects carry eight distinct figures between them, so some outlines stand exactly level on the drawing: Buzz Lightyear, Eevee and Wine Bottle at 30 cm. The widest step inside the band is between Football and Papa Smurf, 23% apart, and every other neighbour is closer than that.
A4 Paper, Buzz Lightyear and Eevee are the tightest three, held inside 1% of each other, which is well below what anyone judges by eye. Four of the ten sit under 25 cm and six above it, which is where the dashed marker crosses the drawing.
Why they do not look the same size
The drawing above puts all ten outlines on one scale, standing on one ground line, so the only thing separating Kirby from Wine Bottle is the measurement itself. Eevee is 4.53 times as wide as Wine Bottle on that drawing, 32.44 cm against 7.16 cm, and the two are recorded at the very same 30 cm on the axis this page is built on. That is the whole difficulty with judging size by eye: what fills the frame is the outline of Eevee, and what puts it on this page is one height of 30 cm. Eevee and Wine Bottle are held to the same scale all the same, the way a drawing has to be built before two sizes can be read off it at once.
What each figure covers
The figure for Football is the one for FIFA size 5, 22 cm (8.66 in). The figure for Tarsier is the one for average male, 28 cm (11.02 in). The figure for A4 Paper is the one for portrait, 29.7 cm (11.69 in).
Gingy is filed under Shrek, Gingerbread Man and is the one character on the page, so its 21.5 cm comes from what the story fixes rather than from a tape measure. Kirby, A5 Paper, Papa Smurf, Buzz Lightyear, Eevee and Wine Bottle carry no qualifier in the set, so their figure is the plain one, with nothing narrowed down. Every figure above is a height, Kirby and Wine Bottle included, and the axis is the first thing to check before two sizes are worth putting side by side.
How often they come up in the game
Between them these ten objects have come up 134 times in the daily game, and Wine Bottle accounts for 61 of those on its own. Six of them have been drawn no more than twice in all: Football, Papa Smurf, Tarsier, Kirby, A5 Paper and Gingy. The game has already drawn one of these pairs against each other: A4 Paper against Wine Bottle (11 times), which is as close to a tie as a round of this game gets.
